Murchison LCDC Wins State Award

Murchison LCDC has won the State Award for Landcare and was finalist in two other awards. We received certificates for the above award and a $1,000 Cheque and engraved platter for the win.

David and Brett Pollock received the award (on behalf of the Murchison LCDC) at the NRM dinner in Denmark. The award was given by the Dept of Environment and presented by Hon. K Chance, Minister for Agriculture.

We won the award for the Murchison and Roderick River projects and PGA, Amanda Malae, wrote the submission. We thank the Shire of Murchison for their help in supporting the Murchison LCDC.

We should be proud of winning this State Landcare Award and thank all those involved.
